The Accrediting Council for Applied Higher Learning is an accrediting body for degree- granting higher education institutions who integrate life experiences with traditional education curriculum. In addition to traditional quality education standards, ACAHL-member schools measure students' applied learning in three main ways: Active in-class participation, Active out-of-class life experiences, and Community Service Engagements.

President- Alexis Monroe
Alexis Monroe is a community revitalizer and applied education activist. She credits the power of education through her applied law school studies which unlocked gifts in her to become an influential affordable housing developer, two-time published author, and a creative, network building curator. She is the founder of America's Largest Net-Worth Building Mixer called, "Mingling With Millionaires," an annual event recognized by Florida State Representative, Florida Senator, and City Mayors for its ability to spearhead collaborations and inspire individuals give back to the every-day community. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University.
Vice President- Dr. Chandra Johnson
Dr. Chandra Johnson is an influential, award-winning and passionate applied education enthusiast. She is the campus dean for Ancora Education where she substantially increases student retention rate. She is a member of several professional organizations. She has presented at international, national, regional, and state agencies. She owns a private counseling practice in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Ph. D in Counselor Education from University of Arkansas as well as a Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance from Howard University.
Vice President- Dr. Santarvis Brown
Dr. Santarvis Brown is a prominent scholar, motivational speaker, researcher, and change maker who brings 20 years of experience in the education space. The intersectionality of faith, service, education and vision-driven leadership has been the hallmark of Dr. Brown's entire professional career. He currently serves as the chair of graduate business at Excelsior University. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Purdue University Global, A Doctorate of Education from California Coast University, Master of Education from Regent University, Master of Divinity from Payne Theological Seminary, Master of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University, Master of Arts in Management & Leadership from Liberty University, and Bachelor of Arts from Florida Memorial University.
Vice President- Dr. Dominick Agostini
Dr. Dominick Agostini passion to ignite the true, limitless power of education makes him an influential education activist. Dr. Agostini currently serves as the Director of Campus Operations at Herzing University. He desires to empower others through education, mentorship, edification, and encouragement. Dr. Agostini holds a Doctorate of Education from University of South Florida, four Leadership Certificates from Cornell University, a Master's degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Universidad InterAmericana De Puerto Rico
Dr. Sharon Hunter
Dr. Sharon Hunter is an expert in applied education and business growth. She earned a Doctorate in Education Leadership and Adult Education from Nova Southeastern University. She offers program expertise, grant writing, and project management for nonprofits and for-profits through Regional Consultants, LLC. With over 25 years of experience as a professor at NC A&T State University, she has taught curriculum, sociology, and transformative leadership. She has published over 35 articles and has traveled internationally to train educators and administrators.
Jerry Monroe
Jerry Monroe is an influential leader in the community health and wellness, and education industry. He has led and served on more than two hundred accreditation site visits at various institutions around the world and has been instrumental in ensuring that compliance and accreditation standards were met. He is the director of Community Health and Wellness at Washington Health Institute where he serves in a key leadership role for the operations, performance and growth of Case Management. He previously was the Chief Academic Officer at Contemporary Family Services. Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeast Lousiana University and a Master of Health Administration from Grambling State University.
Raffi Roubanian
Raffi Roubanian comes with 18Years of experience working with non-profit, for-profit and public sectors in higher education. He is currently the director of student services and enrollment at Roseman University in Las Vegas, Nevada. He holds a Master of Science in Management & Leadership from American Intercontinental University
Dr. J Brandice Jones- Presley
Dr. Presley is a pioneer in the applied education industry. She is a preacher, educator, christian-life coach, and published author. She proudly serves as a member of numerous professional organizations such as The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, National Association of Educators, and National Association of University Women. She currently serves as the dean of students at Alfred I Dupont Middle School in Jacksonville, Florida. She earned a doctorate of education in education leadership, graduating summa cum laude from Trident University International.

INSTITUTION LIASON
All board of trustees are governed by The Higher Learning Assembly. The Higher Learning Assembly includes one voting representative from each ACAHL-accredited institution, three voting representatives of the public, one representative of prospective ACAHL-accredited students, one representative of the professors of ACAHL-accredited institutions, and one representative of each state where an ACAHL-accredited institution operates.
The board of trustees guide the organizations' work to implement the accreditation process. The board deliberates on and decides the official action on all recommendations for institutions.
